What people are saying
“I’m so moved by the fact people volunteer in their spare time to give disabled people an experience they wouldn’t otherwise have available to them. All the volunteers are incredible, and nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!”
“I never thought I’d be able to go sailing again. Thanks to this project (Inclusive Adventure programme) and the Outdoor Partnership, I’ve been on the water all summer. “I wouldn't have my job if it wasn't for the Outdoor Partnership!”
“I went out today with Owain to Conwy Mountain and I had a fantastic day. I was a little nervous that I would get turned down because of my illness. However, Owain soon put my mind at ease and he made me feel welcome, which I rarely get, and I would recommend it to anyone despite their age or health.”
I had been unemployed, on and off, a pattern that repeated itself over many years… I felt rejected, my confidence was at an all-time low, I had little or no self-esteem when I came across the Outdoor Partnership. They believed I could do it, they believed I was competent! They believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and it was their support that got me through quite a difficult period of my life! I have regained my confidence and self-belief and am now a qualified Mountain Leader and working toward becoming a climbing instructor
