  • Think Active
  • School Games Organisers
  • Mercia Canoe Club
  • Leam Boats
  • Canal & River Trust

has shown what partnership working can achieve, with a successful week of paddle sports delivered across canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding here in Coventry with over 400 people taking part and utilising two areas within the city to engage a wide demographic of local people.

“It has never been my sort of thing and my child did not want to do it when I asked him. But we gave it a go and are so proud of ourselves. We’re bringing the whole family to the weekend sessions. It’s going to be our new thing now! “
Women & Girls inclusive climbing

We have recently completed an 8 week climbing program for young women and girls between the ages of 16 to 18 years old who are new to the sport of climbing.

This course was ran in partnership with Warwick University Climbing & Bouldering Centre.

16 young women and girls supported by their school staff developed their knowledge and skills over the 8 week period and are funded to continue participation post programme delivery to develop their skills and climb independently alongside their friends.

Go Parks Challenge

The outdoor partnership supported the “Go Parks Challenge” within the city by working in partnership with British Orienteering and Octavian Droobers Orienteering club to map the space and to run an activation day for local residents and school children within the city adding to the outdoor resources for people to  engage.
