Neurodiversity Celebration Week

17 – 23 March in 2025

To celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week we wanted to highlight the fantastic work of one of our volunteer ambassadors, Hannah Hancock.
Hannah was keen to share the unique benefits that being part of Welshpool Canoe Club has had for her and other neurodivergent members and coach volunteers within the club.
To do this, she directed this fantastic short film ‘The Way we Flow’, in collaboration with another one of our volunteer ambassadors, filmmaker Caitlin Longden.
We meet Dylan in the video, and he sums it up perfectly when he says ‘there is nothing wrong with having autism, and paddling is fun.’
We couldn’t agree more!
